Yiran Ma
MA, Professional Counselor Associate
Mental Health Therapist
Thank you for reaching out and considering me as your therapist!
Life can be hard when we get caught up in the busyness. I’m honored to be one of the people who can support you through those times. I believe that we are all born with tools that can help us navigate throughout our lives. My goal is to assist you in reorganizing the toolbox through collaborative work so it can be visible to you in those hard times.
I hold a Master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling. I have experience working with individuals on anxiety, depression, relationship conflicts, peer pressures, chronic pain/illness, PTSD, and childhood trauma. As a person of color and an immigrant, I also have experience working with ethnic minority individuals in blended families and with racial/cultural identity struggles. Through a person-centered approach, I strive to tailor each client's experience to accommodate their unique needs, recognizing and respecting the influence of their past on their mental health journey. Through empathy, understanding, and advocacy, I empower and navigate individuals through challenges and pursue their path toward healing and self-discovery.
