My Story

Sandra Wells

MA, Professional Counselor Associate

Mental Health Therapist

As a therapist, I offer a curious and exploratory approach to supporting clients through difficult passages in life. I love working with teens, adults, and families, using relational frameworks to help cultivate a sense of vulnerability and compassion for all aspects of one's identity. In our collaborative journey, we partner to examine patterns and narratives you may believe about yourself and others and seek ways to support you in living your desired life. Most importantly, each individual deserves to feel heard, believed, and accepted for what they're experiencing.

I believe in using a variety of modalities to create a unique approach for each client, such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical-Behavioral Therapy, Internal Family Systems, and Narrative Therapy. Within these modalities, I am sure to adapt and tailor the approach to your unique needs, using a trauma and culturally informed approach to help you feel comfortable and cared for when expressing your life experiences.

With my Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and several years of experience working in adult inpatient, child, and family outpatient environments and crisis support hotlines, I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our therapeutic journey. In these environments, I learned how to engage clients to help regulate their central nervous systems and find solutions that best fit their needs.
