Licensed Mental Health Therapist

Thank you so much for reaching out, I’m so glad you are here. I’m honored for the opportunity to walk alongside you as you take this next step towards counseling. I want to first acknowledge the courage it takes to reach out and seek help.

Through compassion, openness, patience, warmth, and collaboration my hope is to provide a safe, healing, empowering space for adolescents, adults, couples, and families. I am here to walk alongside you through growth, healing, and self-discovery and through life’s joys and challenges. I believe therapy can be a powerful space to uncover and explore aspects of the human experience, and to support fostering a life that feels meaningful and fulfilling. I enjoy taking time to understand your unique story. The journey for therapy looks different for everyone and I want to honor the therapy process that works best for you. I strive to provide individualized care based on your identified needs and goals. I am passionate about creating a safe, affirming, inclusive space to take steps toward healing where you feel heard, seen, valued, and understood. My hope is to guide you in creating an authentic relationship with yourself as well as authentic connections with others.

When I’m not working, I love hiking and time in the outdoors, yoga, spending time with my husband, trying new local restaurants and coffee shops, and traveling.

CREDENTIALS & APPROACH
I have a masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Oregon. I have experience in a variety of evidence-based psychotherapy approaches: Gottman (level 1), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Internal Family Systems (IFS). In the therapy space I also incorporate skills from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
