Licensed Mental Health Therapist

Thank you for reaching out and considering me as your therapist.

We are all creatures of habit and often do not recognize what is causing us pain until we are in crisis. Breaking down old behaviors and exploring what is possible can be scary but necessary to grow. It’s never too late to discover, explore, and resolve what is causing us pain or limiting our potential. Let’s work together to find solutions and expand understanding of the “why’s and how’s” of experience, emotion, and symptoms of dysregulation.

I embrace solution-based methods with functional and direct applications using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectic Behavioral Therapy. As a complement to these methods, I utilize integrated techniques - founded in neuroscience, somatic modalities, and informed systems theories - including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), clinical hypnosis, and resolution therapies.

I have worked in varied settings and with a diverse range of specialized populations. Trauma can originate in capacities such as generational, complex, chronic, or acute. A portion of my work is dedicated to resolving impacts of trauma on the nervous system. These experiences have expanded my understanding of holistic healing and reliance. I am passionate about my work and look forward to collaborating with clients to address areas of distress, exploration, and growth.

I am licensed in Oregon as LPC and certified as a CADC 1 and Minnesota as an LPCC & LADC. I received a Bachelor of Science in Applied Psychology from Bemidji State University. Master of Arts, in Adlerian Counseling and Psychotherapy; Emphasis in Mental Health, Co-Occurring, and Addiction Counseling. I am Certified in Traumatic Stress Studies. I have advanced training in Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) programs, Addiction issues and Native American Curriculums for SUD.

As a direct descendent of the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe, I have personal interest in addressing impacts of trauma. I support reformation to address inequities within healing systems, such as access to civic resources, mental health services, and am an ally to LGBTQIA+ folks.
