Chantal Klee
MSW, Clinical Social Work Associate
Mental Health Therapist
Thank you for reaching out and considering me as your therapist.
Is this therapist a good fit for me? This is a VERY IMPORTANT question! I strive to create a space where you feel respected, empowered, understood and not judged. I'm glad you are here and taking the next step towards living the life you want, therapy can be difficult at times and the relationship we create is vital to weather the storm of transformation and change. I am here to support you in reaching your treatment goals, and I firmly believe you are more then your symptoms. My approach is empathetic, non-judgmental, non-directive, and collaborative.
I utilize therapeutic interventions that draw from modalities such as Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Rogerian Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, Sand tray play, Play-based Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy and Collaborative Problem Solving; I am also trained in EMDR which is an effective treatment for trauma.
I hold a master’s in Social Work from Portland State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Willamette University.
I specialize in working with youth and their caregivers in individual/family therapy for trauma and anxiety-related disorders. I have worked with individuals from all walks of life, and I tailor my approach to fit your needs. In my free time, I enjoy reading, dancing, singing, camping, hiking, gardening, and watching movies with my husband, dog, and two birds.
