MFT, LPC, CADC I
Licensed Mental Health Therapist
Taking the first step to start therapy can feel uncertain and intimidating - with acknowledgment of the courage it takes to reach out, I’m glad you’re here.
I greatly appreciate the honor of being a part of my client’s process. Providing a safe and supportive environment for them to identify, heal and grow, in all areas of their life - whether emotional, spiritual or social. Utilizing a trauma-informed mindset, we can work together to explore and manage your emotions, learn effective communication techniques and increase effective engagement in the relationships and responsibilities that are meaningful to you.
Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my two sons,, partner, bulldog, and cats - we love exploring the beauty Oregon has to offer.
CREDENTIALS & APPROACH
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor I (CADC I) with experience in both residential and outpatient settings. I attended the University of Oregon’s Marriage and Family Therapy program, where I developed a strong foundation of working with individuals, couples, and families from a relational and systemic approach. Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my two sons, partner, bulldog, and cats - we love exploring the beauty Oregon has to offer.
My approach is grounded in Solution Focused Therapy, which means we focus on what’s working, not just what’s wrong. I believe you are the expert in your own life, and my role is to support you with leaning into your strengths and learning new skills towards the future you want. I offer insight into Dialectical Behavioral Therapy skills, to aide in understanding and accepting difficult feelings. I strive to create a space where you feel comfortable, supported, and understood. Whether navigating anxiety, relationship challenges, substance use concerns, depressive symptoms, or life transitions, we’ll work to identify solutions that feel realistic and important to you.
WHO I WORK WITH
I work with young adults and adults from a variety of backgrounds and welcome clients of diverse identities and lived experiences. This includes individuals across different racial, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds, as well as those who identify as LGBTQIA +. I strive to provide an affirming and culturally responsive space where each person feels seen, respected, and supported. I am committed to understanding how your unique experiences, values, and identities shape your story.
When you’re ready to take that first step, I invite you to reach out. I look forward to supporting you wherever you are in your process and walking alongside you as you move towards the changes that matter most to you.
