My Story
Astrid Negron

Mental Health Therapist
Mi pasión es ayudar a los clientes a navegar y lograr el bienestar.
My passion is to help my clients navigate and achieve well-being for themselves. I am a bilingual (native Spanish speaker) Licensed Professional counselor with more than seven years experience working with individuals and families from diverse backgrounds and counseling needs. I believe that all people deserve to be treated with mutual respect and regard. I apply a trauma informed and cultural context perspective to aid in communicating with others in a manner that is compassionate, but direct and clear.
I have spent years working with individuals and families dealing with some of the most difficult challenges; trauma experienced by Commercially Sexually Exploited Children, crisis situations, and working with those dealing with all kinds of addiction.
I believe in utilizing a variety of techniques and methods, developing a unique approach for every individual or family. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, as well as Motivational Interviewing, Brief Solution Focused therapy, among others.
I will meet you where you are at and together we will help you achieve your goals. I look forward to hearing from you.
