Mental Health Therapist
Reaching out for support—whether for yourself, your child, or your family—can feel overwhelming. You may be noticing changes in behavior, big emotions, or patterns that are hard to make sense of. If you’re here, you’re already taking an important step toward support, and you don’t have to navigate it alone.
I work with children, teens, adults, and families to better understand what’s going on beneath the surface and to build practical tools for moving forward. My style is warm, collaborative, and creative, and I strive to make therapy a space where clients feel comfortable expressing themselves in ways that feel natural to them. With children, I incorporate play and creativity; with teens and adults, I focus on insight, skill-building, and meaningful change. I believe that growth happens when people feel seen, supported, and actively involved in the process.
CREDENTIALS & APPROACH
I hold a Master’s degree in Counseling and bring a background in medicine, which shapes my holistic approach to mental health. My experience spans school-based settings, medical environments, and community care, with a strong focus on children’s behavioral health and development, while also supporting adults navigating life’s challenges.
My work integrates several evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which helps identify and shift unhelpful thought patterns; Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), which builds skills for managing intense emotions; play therapy, which allows children to process experiences through play; and art therapy, which provides a creative outlet for expression and healing. I tailor each session to the developmental and emotional needs of the individual and family.
When I’m not in the office, I enjoy exploring the Pacific Northwest—hiking, skiing, golfing, and spending time with my family and our dog, Mello.
WHO I WORK WITH
I work with children (5+), teens, adults, and families, and offer an affirming space for LGBTQ+ and neurodiverse clients. I specialize in anxiety, ADHD, trauma, emotional regulation, and family dynamics, and I’m especially passionate about helping children and caregivers strengthen their connection while also supporting adults in building insight, resilience, and lasting change.
Taking that first step can feel like a big one, but support is here when you’re ready. I’d be glad to connect and see how I can support you and your family.
