My Story

Kellie Collins

MS, LPC, NCC

Clinical Director/Owner

Thank you for reaching out and considering me as your therapist.  Deciding to seek counseling can be challenging for many people.  It can be, difficult, exciting and often a significant life-changing step in someone’s life. It takes a lot of courage and strength to reach out for help, and you are doing that and for this, I congratulate you! When I was younger I struggled with significant anxiety and panic attacks and went to a counselor who helped me gain my confidence back. She was my inspiration for doing what I do today and I am honored to be able to give that back to others.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Oregon and I have worked over 10 years in the mental health field.  I love every second I get to witness and experience what clients’ bring to therapy.  As a mental health therapist, I work from a client centered, integrative approach.  I utilize cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), Dialectic behavioral therapy (DBT), and brief solution focused therapy.  I also believe that we need to work collaboratively, as a team, to help you achieve your goals. The body and mind are greatly connected and intertwined, which is why I believe in a holistic approach to mental health care.  I am happy and honored to provide you with a safe healing space for you to tell your story, set goals, and discover the person you were meant to be.

My experiences provide me with an extensive background working in diverse populations addressing an array of issues we humans encounter.  I am confident that with my experience, training, and therapeutic approach, I can help you develop and achieve your goals.  I specialize in treating anxiety disorders, depression, disordered eating, women’s issues, and stress reduction.  I have a particular interest in dual health/mental health issues.  I am influenced greatly by behavioral health techniques in treating co-occurring mental health and chronic health conditions and typically used an integrative, straight forward approach during counseling.  I primarily work with late teens and adult individuals and couples, ages 18 and older.  I provide individual, couples, and family counseling. Thank you again for considering me as your therapist.  When you are ready to make some changes in your life, call to schedule an appointment.  We can sit down and discuss how I can help you!  I look forward to meeting with you and helping you become the person you were meant to be!
